God Meant It for Good
Day 1 – A Prophetic Introduction to The Joseph Anointing
“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good…”
— Genesis 50:20 (ESV)
Have you ever looked back at a moment of pain or betrayal… and seen the fingerprints of God behind it?
Joseph did.
He was thrown into a pit by his own brothers. Sold into slavery. Falsely accused. Imprisoned and forgotten.
And yet — in the final chapter of his story — when the very ones who betrayed him stood trembling before him, Joseph didn’t retaliate. He revealed his perspective.
“You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good.”
That’s not just a statement. It’s a prophetic lens.
🔥 This Is a Joseph Generation
The Joseph story is not just a story of survival — it’s a blueprint for restoration, identity, and divine rulership.
And it begins with this truth:
You are not disqualified by what you’ve walked through. You are being prepared by it.
God is still writing Joseph stories.
This 7-day journey will walk you through the prophetic layers of Joseph’s life — not just as history, but as a living word for today.
You’ll see how:
Hidden seasons can hold your deepest formation
Betrayal can become the soil of breakthrough
Rulership in the Kingdom begins with servanthood
And restoration always brings us full circle
But today, we start at the foundation: Perspective.
🙏 Journal & Reflect:
Where in your life have you seen something meant for harm be turned for good?
Is there a place you’re still waiting for redemption? Write it down. Invite God to give you His perspective.
📖 Prayer:
Father, today I choose to believe that You are not finished writing my story.
I surrender my perspective for Yours.
Turn what the enemy meant for evil — into a testimony of Your goodness.
Help me to see, like Joseph did, that You are always working for good.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
